I took 360-degree photos of the GenOn power plant in Avon Lake, Ohio on March 28, 2022 – five days before ownership of the facility was transferred to Charah Solutions Inc.
Charah Solutions subsidiary – Avon Lake Environmental Redevelopment Group (ALERG), will tear down the plant and oversee the redevelopment of the site “to expand economic activity to benefit the surrounding communities through job creation,” as noted in a press release.
